Nestled among the vineyards of Charente-Maritime, **Domaine La Belle Charentaise** invites you to enjoy a peaceful stay where tranquillity, comfort and conviviality come together.
Just 15 minutes from the Jonzac thermal spa**, Gîte Les Althéas is the perfect place to get together with family or friends, take your time and enjoy the simple pleasures of a holiday: breakfast on the terrace, a swim in the heated pool, a leisurely lunch in the shade or an aperitif as the sun begins to set.
Attached to our home yet completely independent, this 130 m² holiday cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests in a warm and comfortable setting.
✨ A warm and comfortable interior
As soon as you arrive, you will discover a pleasant living area that is both welcoming and relaxing. The large dining table is perfect for gathering everyone around a meal, while the sofa and two club armchairs invite you to sit back and relax after a day of exploring.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals with ease: induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker and Nespresso coffee machine.
The ground floor also features a first bedroom with a 160 x 190 cm bed, wardrobe and ceiling fan, as well as a bathroom with shower, double washbasin and hairdryer. A separate toilet with hand basin and washing machine completes this level.
Upstairs, the air-conditioned floor features two bedrooms, allowing everyone to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep: one with a 160 x 200 cm bed and television, and the other with two 90 x 190 cm single beds. A second toilet with washbasin completes the first floor.

Because some of the best holiday memories are made outdoors, Gîte Les Althéas has its own private terrace, furnished with outdoor seating, a parasol and two sun loungers.
Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine, settle down with a good book, share a barbecue or simply let the hours drift by…
Throughout the property, the large, tree-filled and flower-filled garden offers plenty of peaceful spots to relax. Guests who enjoy a little friendly competition can make use of the table tennis and badminton, while board games and a library are available for quieter moments.

And, of course, there is the pool…
A heated 8 x 4 metre swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers and parasols, where both children and adults can make the most of sunny days.
The pool is open from 10 am to 8 pm, from 1 May to 30 September, and is shared with the owners and other guests staying at the property.
A refreshing swim after a walk, a few lengths before breakfast or simply relaxing by the water… you can enjoy it at your own pace.
